About Catholic Enquiry Centre
Catholic Enquiry Centre (CEC) is the national faith promotion outreach of the Australian Catholic Bishops' Conference. CEC was founded in 1959 for the better knowledge of Christ and the Catholic Church in Australia.
The Centre aims to assist Catholics seeking a return to faith practice (pastoral), to offer clear information about the Catholic Faith for those who are searching for faith, and for people of other religious backgrounds (evangelical), and to promote inter-religious understanding (ecumenical).

Instruction Course
As part of its outreach program, CEC provides 'enquirers' with information about the Catholic Faith, in the form of a series of eighteen pamphlets (lessons). For information about these lessons, please visit our resources menu item.

The Centre also makes available other materials aimed at helping people to grow in their understanding of the Catholic faith. To view our range of additional resources please visit our resources section.

Making Connections
CEC aims to provide, for all interested persons and groups, helpful connections with Catholic organisations, in order to facilitate involvement with various aspects of the life of the Church.
