When I was a little boy back in Cambodia I knew nothing about Jesus. Up until I came to Australia in 1979 and only after three years, my friend introduced me to the Baptist Church - that was when I was ten years old.

I started going to Bible study classes but I was sceptical about it all. I wasn't serious about believing in God at all. I was more into playing than putting my faith in God. After two years, when I was
twelve years old my family and I moved to another suburb and I stopped going to Church.

Finally when I did start going to Church again, I was only interested in playing with my friends and would go from one church to the next, shifting from Baptist to Anglican.

After twenty-five years in Australia I decided to try out the Catholic Church in Cabramatta. Now I am more mature and have a family, a wife and one child.

I started going to Bible study again and started learning about the Catholic faith. This time I knew God really touched me. I started to question more and more and was very interested in knowing about God.

As time goes by my knowledge of Christ and the Catholic faith expanded. I would pray to God everyday and as I pray, I would feel the Spirit of God guide me and I was feeling stronger, wiser and more confident than before.

Finally at Easter 2006, I was at last Baptised in the Catholic Church in Cabramatta. It was like a dream come true. I was very much enjoying learning and meeting God's people and regularly going to Church on Saturday evening. I was so happy that I will never stop going to Church. Learning to believe in God was the best thing I have ever experienced in my whole life.

To be honest, my main reason for believing in God was because of God's love for me, and his people. His teachings are amazing and good for all mankind. But the best reward after all was "ETERNAL LIFE" which God promises to give to those who believe in Him. From then to the present I still pray to God and ask him to increase my faith.
